Jackson is a demanding, overbearing grumpy boss. He has set standards that are impossible to meet and any relations with his staff are strictly professional and he doesn’t want anyone getting too close. When he needs to replace his assistant temporarily a virtual assistant is hired, and she is everything he doesn’t want in an employee.

Amy couldn’t be more different than Jackson. Where he doesn’t allow anyone close, she hasn’t met a person she hasn’t liked. She is the sun compared to his dark clouds and she gives as good as she gets when it comes to the interactions between them.

As they adjust to working together their relationship evolves into a friendship and even though they have never met the flirting begins. These two couldn’t be more different or more perfect for each other and there is no denying the chemistry and connection between them. The dual narration added an extra layer to the story and the narrators were a perfect choice for the characters.
