As the revelations from the last book in this series are exposed both Letty and Kane are left reeling. Letty doesn’t handle the news in the best way and rather than her and Kane facing the situation together she flees to those she feels closest to which could cause a rift between them that they will never be able to recover from.
If that doesn’t keep you on edge then the suspense action certainly will as Kane tries to undo choices he has made in the past which places him and everyone he cares about in a dire situation. It could not only cost him his education but his life and the lives of those closest to him as well.
In the final book of this series Kane shows the type of man he is and seeing his evolution from the beginning of the series to now was great to see. Letty has made her own mistakes as well but seeing them finally help each other heal from their pasts shows that always have and always will belong together.
