Due to his occupation, it is in Carson’s best interest that he doesn’t allow anyone too close as the consequences could be dire both for him and then. Until now he had never met anyone who wanted him to break his rules but when he met Hailey the combination of her inner and outer beauty made her a temptation that he is unable to walk away from.
Hailey is satisfying her wanderlust and she now finds herself working in a pub in Switzerland. She is vivacious and always sees the positive in every situation, but she never expected to be intrigued by the sexy stranger or the danger that the secrets he holds would bring into her life.
Hailey is ideal for Carson as she gives him the balance he needs in his life. His desire to protect her and what they share increases the turmoil and suspense in their story, but I enjoyed seeing how everything came together for them.
