About the Book:
Who knew falling in love with my fake girlfriend could feel so real?
I donāt have time for distractions, which is a huge problem since my new next-door neighbor Rosalie Wentworth is very distracting. Sheās kind, beautiful, and makes me laugh like no woman ever has before.
Unfortunately, the two of us add up to one really sad country songāIām nursing a bruised ego following a broken engagement and sheās suffering through a messy divorceāso I vow to set my attraction aside and focus on being her friend instead.
Thatās easier said than done, however, since her mom is convinced Rosalie and I are perfect for each other. When one of her matchmaking schemes goes a step too far, Rosalie and I hatch a plan of our own: pretend to date for a couple of months to get her mom off our backs.
Itās foolproof, really.
Only, what started as a fake relationship is starting to feel very real, and now I donāt know if I can go back to the way things were before. Because it turns out if home is where the heart is, then Rosalie is mine.
Review
When her life implodes, both personally and professionally, Rosalie returns to Vermont and now finds herself living in her motherās attic. She is still trying to heal from a disastrous marriage so the last thing she needs is to get involved with Sam, her motherās renter, however to avoid her motherās matchmaking attempts they decide to pretend to be a couple.
Preston moved to Vermont and started a construction company with his best friend when his family failed to support him when he needed someone the most. He is attracted to Rosalie but also knows she isnāt ready to return the feelings he has for her so he is more than happy to pretend they are together while he convinces her that they should be.
Family drama and an enchanting romance as Rosalie and Preston overcome their difficult pasts and find a new beginning in each other.
