Although Sonia is surrounded by good friends and family the one thing she has been missing is the right man to spend her life with. Her choices when it comes to men have been questioned as evidenced by man she is currently divorcing. She may be attracted to Foster, but she is cautious about opening her heart to the possibility of love and the pain it can cause when it goes wrong.
Despite the best of intentions Foster is going through a divorce of his own. He has been attracted to Sonia for a while but neither of them have been free to pursue the other until now. What starts out as a friendship evolves into so much more until the past resurfaces and is about to make a huge impact on the present.
Both Sonia and Foster are kindred souls as they are both looking for a fresh start after a failed marriage. They take us on an emotional journey as they realize how precious life and love truly is.
