Lola has always been sheltered by the men in her family and she has decided that it is time for her to forge her own path and that begins with her new job at Truman Security, but she never expected her biggest temptation and challenge would be her co-worker Cade.
Cade has transitioned from his military career to working for Truman Security. He finds his new co-worker exasperating as they battle over her need to prove herself and his need to protect her and that doesn’t even include the attraction he has for her that he is determined to deny.
This story has a great balance of suspense and emotion as Lola’s feisty personality is exactly what Cade needs in his life.
