Despite Mel’s attempts to build a good life for herself every attempt she makes is derailed by the one person who should have been there to support her. If she ever wants to break this destructive cycle she knows she needs to leave town and she now finds herself working in Vermont as a bartender.
When Trevor comes into Speakeasy, he is both surprised and elated when he sees Mel behind the bar. Although they have never met, he was enchanted when he saw her in NY a few months earlier, but he never expected to see her again. Now that fate has brought them back together, he is determined to show her they belong together however they both have secrets they are keeping.
Trevor and Mel have more in common than they know but it is only when they are willing to open their hearts and pasts to each other that they will be able to overcome the obstacles that stand between them.
