Jessa has experience both side of the spectrum as at one point she held all the power and control and at another point she was powerless and having no control. The girl you loved to hate is no more and even though you never thought it could happen you might just emphasize with the situation she now finds herself in.

Cassius is a loyal friend but when it comes to women, he likes to keep his relationships casual and emotion free. He and Jess have a past, but it never extended beyond a superficial level but now that she needs his help they are about to realize that they never really knew each other at all.

The chemistry between is intense but it is the way that Cassius gives Jessa the strength she needs to not only deal with the threat in the present but to deal with the trauma from the past as well.
