Review

After what she has endured Rita focuses on her career as a lawyer, being a strong mentor for others in AA and honouring her father by managing his non-profit. Although she may not be happy, she is content until Jake starts disrupting her routine in all aspects of her life.

Due to his past and his career as an arson investigator anyone who truly knew Jake would not believe he was guilty of the crime he was convicted of. After serving his sentence all Jake wants is to complete his probation and move forward with his life however it seems that his life keeps colliding with Rita’s at every turn.

Every time that Rita and Jake meet the sparks fly but they both have pasts they have pushed aside but never truly healed from. They come into each other’s at the perfect time and fight not only for their future but for what is right as well.
