Wes is struggling as a senseless act has taken his best friend and team captain and now he finds himself wanting to do right by his children of whom he is now a joint guardian. To make matters more difficult the other guardian is a woman who has made her feelings about him quite clear and not only are they looking after the children together, but they are now living together as well.
Hadley was devastated when she lost her best friend, but she is determined to be there for her two children even if it means living with a man who turned infuriating her into an art form. As they spend time together the chemistry between them ignites but it is a matter of circumstance or love?
This story packs an emotional punch between the grief they are feeling and the effect that the loss of their friends has had on everyone in their lives. Although they were brought together under the worst of circumstances there is no denying they bring out the best in each other.
