Hazel is happy that her best friends found love however it has also meant she needs to find a place to live but thankfully her friend Kieran invites her to stay with him until she does. There is nothing more that she would like than to find a man to share her life with but the emotional scars from the past are impacting her present, but Kiernan may just have the perfect arrangement for both of them to get what they want.
When Kieran invited Hazel to stay, he was helping out a friend, but he wasn’t expecting the sparks between them. He has a difficult past of his own which still weighs on him so he suggests that he will help Hazel with her caution when it comes to physical intimacy, and she can guide him when it comes to romance.
I really enjoyed the evolution of the two characters as Hazel became the woman she was meant to be while Kiernan realized that the past doesn’t predict the future. The physical connection between them was intense but their emotional connection was even stronger so even though they had some challenges to overcome you always knew that their love was too strong for them not to end up together.
