Blurb:

In the perfect little town of Poultry, Georgia, life is about to be not-so-happily-ever-afterโ€ฆ

Paige Turner is feeling overwhelmed.

First, her grandmother, Dotty, left Paige to run the bookstore while Dotty goes off to learn pole dancing.

Second, Paige had to take Darby, her trusty dog, to the vet and stumbled into a murder scene.

Who would want to kill the local Veterinarian? In Paigeโ€™s mind, Dr. Sara Whiting is a real-life Snow White. With her staff of happy little workers, a stepmother who is absolutely evil, and an allergy to apples, Sara practically whistles while she works.

But Paige can’t let things rest; she needs to find justice for Sara and close the book on this murder.

๐ŸŽReview๐ŸŽ

Needing a fresh start Paige has moved to her grandmotherโ€™s hometown and is now working in her bookstore. An innocent trip to the vet starts a chain reaction when the vet dies and Paige is determined to find out who is responsible however there seems to be a lot of people with motives.

Eli is a police officer who isnโ€™t certain he needs Paigeโ€™s help to solve the case however he certainly enjoys spending time with her.

The romance is sweet, the secondary characters are entertaining, and Paigeโ€™s grandmother is a hoot.
