About the Author:

Born in Miami Beach with a healthy dose of wanderlust, she’s called Los Angeles, Long Island, upstate New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Atlanta home. She’s never been able to pick which locale is her favorite, but if pressed, she’d probably choose the west coast.

A typical PTA mom with a wonderful and supportive husband (Kevin) and two amazing boys (Nick and Max), Kat can usually be found scrapbooking or indulging in her second love (after writing) – traveling. After her relationship with her boyfriend ended and Peyton finds herself homeless it is Ryder that comes to her rescue. They spend a steamy evening together and she knows that one night is all they would have as he has two strikes against her being that he is her brother’s teammate and friends and that he is a hockey player.

Ryder has a career he loves, great friends, his loyal dog and accepted that one night with Peyton is all they would have. It will be months after their night together before he sees her again and once he does he is determined to show her that he is a man she count on not only in the present but the future as well.
