Emerson LeBlanc wants to own the little painter. She’s become more than his obsession. She’s part of his collection now.

Except she’s more perceptive than he’d like. Her artist’s eye sees the shadows in him. She paints his pain on stretched canvas.

He’s determined to own her. She’s determined to escape.

In the end only one of them can truly be free.

💛Review💛
Emerson is a man who has spent his life acquiring beautiful pieces of art and Daphne is no exception. From the moment he saw her he knew he had to have her and now that she has come to him he isn’t about to let her go.

Daphne though that being with Emerson would give her the freedom and independence she craved from her loving but overprotective brother. Finding out that the opposite holds true was a revelation she wasn’t expecting, and she never expected that she would develop feelings for him and want to stay.

Daphne’s past has been difficult, but Emerson’s is even more so as we learn more about the events that shaped him into the man he has become. Both his three brothers and her brother played an important part in the story and gave us further insight into the family dynamics and the cliffhanger has us needing to know what is next for this intriguing couple.
