Perfect Rumor, Mason Creek Book #22 (standalone) by C.A. Harms is available now!
Series: Mason Creek, Book 21 – Standalone
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Trope: Small Town Romance
Leo Reid has always had a thing for the town gossip columnist, but Tate Michaels is one hard woman to get to know. That doesn’t stop Leo from doing all he can to chip away at the edges.
Little by little, day by day, she slowly lets him in.
Leo finds that the woman he always knew was there was hiding beneath the surface. He discovers a side that most have never been given a chance to see.
She’s spent so much time focusing on everything around her, so she doesn’t have to admit she wants what all her friends have. But, letting someone in means allowing that person to see what she has spent so many years trying to hide.
But as life would have it, the tables have turned, and now, the columnist is the focus of all the town’s gossip and rumors.
✯ REVIEW ✯
Tate has family secrets that she doesn’t want exposed so she believes her best defense is a good offense and that is why she likes exposing the secrets of the other townspeople. She allows people only so close before she distances herself, but Leo isn’t about to let her do that with him.
Leo has always known that Tate is his destiny and now he just needs to convince her. He will convince her with both word and deed that she can trust him with her heart and her secrets.
I enjoyed getting to know Tate and Leo is a man that anyone would be lucky to have in their life as he proves that she is someone she can count on for now and always.
