I’ve turned the page on my past and I’m starting over – but will I ever be good enough for the one woman I can’t resist?
I’ve put my rebellious years behind me and I’m finally doing something I can be proud of. Opening a garage with my best friend has given me a fresh start. One that came with an unexpected attraction to my best-friend’s sister.
She’s turned into a beautiful and independent business owner. Her success and determination attracts me just as much as her smile and her sweet personality captivates me.
But her brother warned her against guys like me. I’m not sure I can resist the attraction when I know I’m not good enough for her. I’m not sure I can resist action even though I know I’m not good enough for her. I’m not sure I can resist. My ex sent my son to live with me. I need to be a role model, but how do I do that when I was just like him?
I thought I was looking to the future, but now I’m haunted by my bad boy past. How can I stop my son from repeating my mistakes or be the man Hailey deserves?
Can I step up and be the man I need to be, or will I fail them both?

Lea Coll worked as a trial attorney for over ten years. Now she stays home with her three children, plotting stories while fetching snacks and running them back and forth to activities. She enjoys the freedom of writing romance after years of legal writing.
She grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania and currently resides in Maryland with her family.
Hailey is content with her life between her business and the close relationship she shares with her brother but her past has made her cautious when it comes to her heart. When her brother’s best friend Ryan returns to town with his son Corey there is no denying the connection between them, but she isn’t certain how long he will be staying.
Returning to his hometown is a chance for Ryan to start a business with his best friend and forge a closer relationship with his son Corey. He knows that he must put his son first even if that means relocating but when his past resurfaces will he be able to find a way to have the woman he has grown to love and his son?
I really enjoyed the relationship that Hailey had not only with Ryan but with Corey as well. Although they had some challenges to overcome there is no denying that they belong together and the family they created was heartwarming.
