After going through a difficult time both when it comes to family and romance Scout has decided to focus on her donut truck business. She has been attracted to Grady, one of the hockey players who frequents her business, but doesn’t believe he would ever be interested in someone like her and that opinion is only reinforced when they meet somewhere other than her truck.
Grady is a professional hockey player who has focused all his attention on his career who despite his flirty personality feels out of his depth around women. He owns the mistake that he made with Scout and now he just needs to convince her to give him a second chance.
Scout and Grady were so much fun together despite the fact that they were both cautious for different reasons. They begin as friends which allows them to get know each other, self-doubt and all, and realize that they can help each other reach their dreams both when it comes to life and love.
