Andrew is an uptight lawyer who can’t escape his blind date fast enough as not only is he embarrassed by her outfit, but it turns out she is his best friend’s sister. He intended to leave this evening in his past but when his boss’s wife is looking for an event planner, he hopes that by recommending Kenzie that it would increase his chances of making partner, but he certainly didn’t expect that he would have to assist especially since he wants nothing to do with Christmas.
Kenzie is working hard to make her event planning business a success and is looking forward to the Christmas season and everything that goes along with it. When an event requiring her to dress up as an elf runs late, she goes to her blind date at an upscale restaurant in her costume however her date is less than impressed.
There is so much more to Andrew than first appears from how romantic he was to his reasons for not letting anyone too close while Kenzie is determined to live her life her way despite what others might think. The narrators were a perfect choice for the characters as they brought out both the reserved and sexy side of Andrew and the fun and flirty personality of Kenzie.
