There is nothing that Madigan would like more than to find that special someone to spend her life with but after what she has been through, she is beginning to doubt that will ever happen so she finds contentment with her family and career. When Tobias comes into her life, she knows that he isn’t looking for forever but that doesn’t mean he is what she needs for right now.
Although the reasons are different Tobias has a difficult past of his own. He believes that he is destined to be alone, but he is drawn to Madigan in way he never expected. What was supposed to be a casual fling is starting to feel like so much more and he is determined to protect her even if it is from himself.
Madigan is feisty and knows what she wants while Tobias struggles with his past and believes that she deserves more than he can give her. The relationship between them was swoony and it was wonderful to catch up with the family we love as well.
