Between insults and hot stolen kisses, Daxon and I reach a truce: to let our bodies do the talking and keep our hearts locked down. I’m older than him, which means I’m smart enough to keep a clear head. Until I realize when it comes to love, age and common sense do not go hand in hand.

Rita has recently moved to town with her daughter Ruby ready for a new beginning. What she didn’t expect was to come face to face with the man she hasn’t been able to forget or that the chemistry and connection between them would be stronger than ever.
Daxon and Rita are exactly what the other needs in their lives as they balance each other to perfection. They both have pasts to overcome and I enjoyed seeing their relationship develop as well as the relationship between Daxon and Ruby who will steal your heart.
