Vivienne is very close to her family and loves them with her whole heart even when they interfere in her life. She has decided to spend the summer on the boat she has just purchased to devote herself to her career despite the fact that they arenât completely on board. She isnât about to let any detract her from her goal and that includes her sexy neighbor who is determined to keep his distance.
A few years earlier Xavier made the only choice he could and that was to walk away from the game that was a part of him. He is determined to keep a low profile and not allow anyone close but not only has Vivienne stolen his dogâs affection but has managed to crack the walls he has built around himself and gives him a new perspective on the past and the present.
Both Vivienne and Xavier have secrets and even though they havenât know each other very long their intense chemistry and connection allows them to trust each other. Not only is Vivienne there for Xavier but her family add both humor and emotion as they show Xavier that they are there for him as well.
When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her…
