The New Guy đź’ś Now Live

A new male / male hockey romance from 24-time USA Today bestseller Sarina Bowen!

My name is Hudson Newgate, but my teammates call me New Guy.

That was my nickname in Chicago, too. And Vancouver. That’s what happens when you keep getting traded. Brooklyn is my last chance, especially after my poor performance last season.

But I can make this work. The new guy knows to keep his head down and shoot the puck. The new guy puts the game first.

What he doesn’t do is hook up with the other new guy—a hot athletic trainer who lives in my building. Gavin needs this job with my team. He’s a single dad with responsibilities.

We can’t be a couple. My arrogant agent–who’s also my father–will lose his mind if I’m dating a dude. And my team needs me to score goals, not whip up a media circus.

Too bad Gavin and I are terrible at resisting each other…

Hudson is a defenseman who hasn’t been able to find a team to call home. After being traded once again he hopes that the Brooklyn Bruisers may be that team as his contract is expiring in a year and all he wants is a multi year contract with a no-trade clause. The one thing he does believe is that keeping the fact that he is attracted to men as well as women a secret is the best way for that to happen but being around Gavin, their trainer, is making that difficult.

After the death of his husband a few years earlier Gavin finds himself a single father to Jordyn and she is his world. Working for the Bruisers is a new beginning, but he never expected that the sexy stranger he shared one steamy kiss with would not only be one of the members on the team but his neighbor as well.

The chemistry between Hudson and Gavin was electric but there was plenty of turmoil and angst to go along with it. This is a great start to a new series and I can’t wait to see more stories set around these players. The narrators were a perfect choice for the characters as they brought out all emotion, heat and humor.
