Penny will do anything for mother and that includes using her summer off from teaching to take a interim job as an assistant to help her financially. What she hadn’t expected was that one of her duties would be pretending to be her boss’s fiancé at a family reunion he is obligated to attend.
Jace may have used unorthodox methods to convince Penny to help him out, but he believes it will all be worth it in the end. What they agreed to was a business relationship and nothing more but sometimes the best laid plans don’t work out the way you expect.
The interactions between them were humorous, the chemistry intense and not only are Penny and Jace great characters but there is a fun group of secondary characters who only make this delightful story even better.
