Beginning with his childhood Gage’s life was difficult but a devastating loss when he was in high school has him numbing his pain with alcohol and drugs. Even his career as a drummer and his supportive group of friends aren’t enough to stop his downward spiral. Sadie came into his life be he couldn’t handle the way she made him feel so he pushed her away but he is about to find out it wasn’t only her he pushed out of his life.

Sadie met Gage at a devastating time in her life and he was there when she needed someone the most but when things came to a climax she had to protect herself even if it meant walking away from him. When he reappears in her life wanting to be a father to their daughter she is cautious as she wouldn’t be able to survive repeating the mistakes of the past but she is about to find out that he isn’t the same person as the man she left.

Your heart will break with the paths that Sadie’s and Gage’s life had taken before they met each other. From the beginning the feelings ran deep but before they could be together they had to be apart and start healing from the blows their lives had been dealt.
