Jupiter fell in love with Marnie when they were teenagers until life tore them apart leaving them both with broken hearts. He has gone on to have a successful career as a baseball player but years later when he has the chance to reunite, he is determined to win back her heart all the while knowing it will be the biggest challenge he has ever faced.
Marnie was devastated when Jupiter disappeared from her life. She has achieved her dreams professionally but her latest career move finds her past crashing into the present as she and Jupiter are now working for the same baseball team.
I enjoyed everything about this story from seeing them falling in love the first time to seeing them come together as the people they are now. Marnie brings out a side of Jupiter which allows us to see who he really is and it allows Marnie to realize that she can trust him with her heart.
