The feelings that Alex have for Evie are deep and enduring but he believes that if she knew everything about him she wouldnโt want to be with him so he distances himself first. He soon realizes what an epic mistake that was and when he learns what has happened however getting her back is only the beginning.
Evie has never felt more alone but she never expected that it would be Alex who was there for her. Despite his secrets he makes her feel safe however she is about to realize that she doesnโt really know him at all.
I enjoyed seeing the evolution of both these characters as we see a softer side of Alex and a stronger side of Alex. Secrets are revealed, the twists keep coming and the angst only increases which all lead up to a cliffhanger that leaves us wondering what the future holds.
