Sutton feels like the gymnast team that she is part of doesn’t get the respect that it deserves so when they find themselves sharing space with the football team a prank goes astray and she now finds herself becoming their mascot. It that doesn’t create enough ill will then there is also the fact that she wants nothing to do with Parker for a reason he doesn’t remember.
Parker is a member of the football team who doesn’t understand what he has done to upset Sutton. Keeping his distance would be the best plan but not only are they neighbors they find themselves working on a project together and that means that the time will come when they need to face their past.
Although their reasons are very different both Sutton and Parker with circumstances that make them feel less than so I enjoyed seeing how supportive they were of each other.
