After her boyfriend ends their relationship Angeline finds herself with no job and no home while she tries to determine the next step in her life. She now finds herself living with her best friend which brings its own set of complications as she tries not to disappoint her friend by getting involved with Johnny. She knows that he is off limits but that doesn’t stop the feelings she has for him especially when they begin working together.
Johnny is a famous rockstar who has embraced everything that goes along with being a celebrity but that is only a façade for what he is determined to keep hidden. He needs help to improve his image so he hires Angeline but as they spend time together he is finding it difficult to keep his distance which becomes problematic for multiple reasons.
This story allows us to see who Johnny truly is and why he is that way. There is no denying the chemistry and connection between them as he and Angeline take us on quite the journey filled with so many feels.
