The fur is about to fly between a cheerful cat sitter and a grumpy hockey nerd in this hilarious and charming rom-com from New York Times bestselling author Helena Hunting.
Kitty Hart has become internet famous as the Kitty Whisperer for her expertise on all things feline, and as a result, her cat-sitting business is booming. But lately, she has a terrible feeling that maybe her life isn’t quite going where it’s supposed to—especially after falling face-first into her newest client. Not exactly the best first impression.
Fortunately, Miles Thorn is just as bad at first impressions. Strike one: he doesn’t like cats, especially Prince Francis, the haughty and mischievous Sphynx his mom left in his care. Strike two: tackling her to the floor in a misguided attempt to save the pet he continually calls “the gremlin.”
As awkwardness slides into attraction and things start to turn purr-sonal, will these two complete opposites ever be able to find their furry-tail ending?

Professionally Miles life is going exactly as he wanted but the same can’t be said when it comes to his personal life. Not only is he trying to deal with his mother’s dementia, but he now finds himself responsible for her cat. Not only doesn’t he like cats but the demands of his job makes it even more difficult so he hires the best cat sitter he can find, Kitty.
Kitty’s life is focused around cats from the way she speaks to the clothes she wears and her reputation with felines precedes her. When she and Miles first meet the sparks of antagonism fly but as they spend time together they realize that despite their differences they are really kindred spirits who are both going through difficult times with their family.
The interactions between them are entertaining and the situations they find themselves in are humorous however there is still an emotional aspect of the story as they find love where they least expect it.
