Alek is part of the Bratva, and he and his brother have been tasked with abducting a mafia princess. All goes according to plan until not only do they realize that they have taken the wrong woman, but they are abducted as well. Alek changes from abductor to protector but the situation doesn’t end well and it leaves a trail of broken hearts.
Everleigh is trying to honor the plans that her parents made which sends her to Russia where she endured a devastating situation and barely escaped with her life. She has moved forward with her life and has never forgotten everything that she and Alek shared until he comes back into her life bringing the past with him.
Both Alek and Everleigh are struggling by the events of the past and aren’t the same people they used to be. They take us on an emotional journey as the love between them hasn’t diminished but they have so many obstacles to overcome and he isn’t about to lose her a second time.
