Thea has always done what her family wanted and that includes being a bridesmaid for her sister whose wedding is more a production than a ceremony. The situation only becomes more difficult when she finds out that her sister doesnât really want her there but she is doing it for publicity. She decides to take control wherever she can and that means getting involved with Kade, her sisterâs soon to be brother-in-law knowing that it will infuriate her sister.
Kade isnât any happier to have to take part in this spectacle than Thea is so when she suggests that the best way to get through the mayhem is by doing it together, he agrees. What they shared was supposed to fun and flirty but when they develop feelings for each other it will force them to deal with the past and the present.
The story is entertaining, the characters draw you in, the chemistry is intense, the banter is witty, and it still has all the feels. They are exactly what the other needs as Kade helps Thea become the woman she was always meant to be and she helps him deal with all the messy emotions that he tries to deny and the interactions between them are both humorous and hot.
