Now that Lily has finished college she is ready to pursue her career in art and she would like to put a little physical distance between her and the parents who want to protect her. She is planning a trip to Miami to look at some opportunities however things are about to become complicated when she finds herself convinced to stay with her stepbrother.
Cruz is a professional soccer player who is skilled both on and off the pitch. He and Lily never forged a relationship but having her stay with him and seeing the woman she is now becomes a gamechanger. Once they finally acknowledge how they feel about each other there is no going back but will they be able to survive the aftermath?
I enjoyed seeing the relationship between Lily and Cruz evolve as should grounds him and he allows her to become the woman she is meant to be. The chemistry between radiates off the pages and the romance as swoony as Lily and Cruz show that they are meant to be.
