Kalilah is going through a difficult time in her life so attending a wedding she was invited to was a means to an end and not an opportunity to attract the attention of a man. From the moment that she sits next to Kyson the sparks fly but she never expected to see him again let alone have him in her apartment and that is when it begins to get very interesting.

Kyson thought that he was content with his life until his brother’s relationship had him second guessing that decision. He is not a good man and the first person to agree would be his ex, whose wedding he is attending, however he wasn’t prepared for the very strong feelings he was having for Kalilah.

Despite everything that she is going through Kalilah isn’t about to back down from anyone or anything and that only makes her more intriguing to Kyson. The interactions between them are entertaining, the suspense has you on edge and it was fun to catch up with the other characters we know and love.
