Walker is a man filled with regret when it comes to his unresolved feelings for Harlow and the guilt he feels for the death of John, his best friend, which now means that Evelyn is a single mother who finds herself in a custody battle for her daughter. He canāt do anything about his best friend, but he is willing to be the man that Evelyn and Kaydence need.
Having a child wasnāt something that Evelyn planned however even though she will now be doing it alone her daughter is the best thing to ever happen to her. The possibility of losing her is not an option so when Walker suggests an arrangement that will ensure that doesnāt happen she agrees however even though it started as a way to protect Kaydence it became so much more.
Walker is so supportive, understanding and protective as he shows Evelyn with everything he says or does that she can count on him to always be there for her and her daughter as they become the family they all deserve.

I stumbled upon romance novels in 2018 when I picked up Driven by Kristy Bromberg, and I was obsessed. I had just lost my grandmother too, so reading offered me an escape from reality and a chance to grieve on my own terms.

About a year later, I got an idea for my own book and started writing. I researched self-publishing and jumped in with both feet. I had no idea what I was doing!

But now Iāve built a business and hobby that I LOVE! I have an outlet thatās just for me. When I write, Iām not a mom, a wife, or a teacherā¦Iām a woman who gets to tell stories that no one else can.
