Katy thrives on order and routine and dislikes anything or anyone that disrupts it. Her vacation was supposed to be a time where she could relax however finding out that she has to share her rental with a fellow teacher and the man who takes great pleasure in irritating her was not part of the plan.
Mac is a man who thrives on new experiences and spontaneity but that is only part of who he is. He is also a man who cares deeply and is always there for anyone he cares about as he shows Katy the benefits of letting down her guard and having fun.
I enjoyed seeing the relationship between Katy and Mac unfold as they saw past their differences and found the perfect balance in each other. The banter between them was humorous which combined with the romance and great chemistry create the perfect package.
