Seventy shades of messed up.
That was what she’d been told about herself for nearly her entire life.
From a young age, she knew what it was like to be hated. To be loathed so much by a person that they literally resented the air you breathed.
For her entire childhood, she fought to live, despite her father’s constant effort to make her life a living hell.
Her sisters and brother have no clue what kind of closet psychopath their father really was, and she’ll die before she ruins their picture-perfect view of him.
Why? Because she’s already broken. There’s no fixing this kind of damaged. But there’s no reason everyone else needs to suffer, too.

From the moment Hannibal Peters laid eyes on Hades Singh, he knew she was the one.
That was why he ran.
That was why, when he saw her suffering, he couldn’t stay away.
🏟Review🏟
From what we have seen from Hades in the previous books in this series she appears callous and distant from her family, but the truth is very different. Learning about her past and what she has been through shows us how big her heart is and how she will do anything for those she cares about. She is determined to uncover the truth and protect her twin but first she needs to convince Hannibal to help her.
Hannibal is a friend of Hades’ brother who after leaving the military created a security business. He may have been warned away from Hades but the feelings he has for Hades are both uncomfortable and undeniable. The more he learns about her and her past the more he is determined to show her how strong she is and how he will always be there for her.
The characters are captivating, and it was great for Hades to finally have the love, acceptance and support she has always been worthy of.
