Mikeās agreement to do a favor for his ex makes his first meeting with Natasha unforgettable and after everything is resolved he is surprised when she agrees to go on a date with him. Even though it was one of the best dates he has ever had his need to protect his heart doesnāt make things easy.
Natasha hasnāt made the best choices in her life when it comes to men and after Mikeās behavior she is beginning to wonder if he is just the next bad decision, and she isnāt about to just forgive and forget.
Both Mike and Natasha have been hurt in the past which causes some turmoil. When you combine that with the suspense part of the story you know they are in for a bumpy ride but that only makes the outcome even better.
