Callista is a chef who has recently started her own business where she prepares meals for clients and caters events. She auctioned off a weekend of her cooking for charity and was surprised when Ryder not only won the auction but wanted to go through with it. The biggest problem will be denying her feelings for him.
Ryder is a professional hockey player who is growing a little weary with his lifestyle. A weekend of homecooked meals seems like a dream come true especially when he gets to know Callista and now he just needs to find a way to keep her in his life.
Even though her brother is Ryder’s teammate and friend neither of them are about to let that come between them. I enjoyed this humorous and heartfelt romance that had minimal angst. There is a great cast of secondary characters which only enhanced the story.
