From the moment that Brady saw Piper he knew that she was special, and he wasn’t about to be deterred by her Cinderella like escape and is determined to find her again. When he does he is determined to break through her wall and show her that he is a man she can count on.
Piper has learnt to depend on no on but herself and needs to focus on getting her degree and keeping her secrets. Brady is a surprise she never saw coming and despite her need to distance herself from him he manages to break through her walls before she realized how it happened.
Piper’s need to be cautious is understandable however Brady isn’t about to let anything stand in their way. He wants her in his life and isn’t about to let anything stand in their way including her past.
