Even though Ash was on the ice when he saw Bridget in the stands, he was enchanted however his attempts to learn more about her are unsuccessful as she is there with his boyfriend. He wasn’t sure if he would see her again, but an injury turns out to the best thing to ever happen to him when she turns out to be his nurse and she is no longer in a relationship.

After her last relationship Bridget is focused on finishing school so that she can start her career as a nurse and isn’t ready to let another man in her life. She is about to realize that Ash is persistent as he breaks through her walls and shows her that he is a man she can trust with her heart.
