After the events in the previous book Alana finds herself in a difficult spot but she soon realizes that she will never be alone again, and they are determined to help her right the wrongs of the past.

Reed proves to be a force to be reckoned with if anyone hurts those he loves and he is all in not only with Alana but with JD and Maverick as well. Maverick was there when Alana needed someone the most and has always tried to protect her even if it was from himself. JD has always had a special relationship with Alana even when they thought they were on different sides and that has only grown stronger.
