Lily had always believed that a life with her best friend was her end game until he makes a decision that allows her to see him as who he really is.   A friendship develops between her and Maverick and after they give in to the chemistry between them, she is determined that they are meant to be more than friends and now she just has to convince him.

In Maverick’s mind and heart Lily is off limits due to his past as he doesn’t believe he can give her what she deserves.   The situation is further complicated as he works for her family and doesn’t want to jeopardize the home he has found there however Lily is determined to show him that they are meant to be and where it counts he is already part of the family.

Lily is a force to be reckoned with and she knows who she wants and isn’t afraid to go after him and I enjoyed seeing Maverick open his heart and have hope for a future filled with all the love and happiness he deserves.
