AN UNFINISHED MEMORY

Release Date: February 15
Meet Marie Johnston:
Marie Johnston is a RITA® Finalist, and a best-selling and award-winning writer of paranormal and contemporary romance – and an avid reader of them both.
Several years ago, when kids started outnumbering adults in the house, Marie Johnston left her job as a public health microbiologist to stay at home. Settling into working part-time and shuttling kids around gave Marie the opportunity to think about what she wanted to be when she grew up. A die-hard science geek, she explored her previously thought to be non-existent creative side after much time spent making snowman crafts and coloring princesses. Having entertained thoughts of writing a book one day then subsequently deciding it would be too hard, she finally put the figurative pen to paper and began to type – and fell in love with story telling.
The Sigma Menace is the first series by Marie with Fever Claim being her first book EVER. She is humbled by the fact that people are willing to read to her books and looks forward to keeping readers entertained for many years.
Marie lives with her husband and four kids in North Dakota where the summers are gorgeous, the winters are brutal, and spring and fall are luxuries.

Blurb:
I never keep secrets from my best friend, but I’m not sure how to tell her I’m sneaking around with her brother…who’s also my ex-husband.
I might be single, but I’m not ready to mingle. I should’ve stayed home from the street dance. My feet are barely surviving the two-step and my dance partners are looking for dates while I’m only interested in forgetting the man I was once married to.
The night’s about to end with bruised toes and a rain storm when the guy who swept me off my feet years ago cuts in right before the downpour starts. Wilder Knight has always been the best dance partner I’ve ever had. Just not the best husband.
Once the storm hits, we take refuge in his pickup, but that isn’t all we do. After steaming up the windows and losing my underwear, I make a habit out of hooking up with my ex-husband.
Only the longer we continue, the easier it is to see why our marriage fell apart. I couldn’t get over him the first time and losing him a second time might destroy the secure life I’ve built for myself, leaving me to ask… Were we better left an unfinished memory?

💛Review💛
Sutton loved her husband Wilder when she married him, when she divorced him, and she still loves him, but she had to make a choice based on what she needed. The divorce was difficult especially since she is still an important part of his family, and one stolen night might just change everything.
Wilder is dedicated to his career and love was never the problem when it came to Sutton. Even though sharing one stolen night with her was not enough they must deal with what tore them apart if they are ever going to find their way back to each other.
Even though mistakes were made, both in the past and in the present, this is a heartwarming story about realizing who and what is important and making changes to ensure that you never put what really matters in jeopardy.
