Now that Hugh finds himself a single father to his daughter Lucy he is adjusting to a new town and a new job. When he meets Daisy at a wedding, he never expected to see her again however on his first day he is about to find out that she is also his boss.
Daisy is feisty and is determined to not let what she has been through impact her life. The chemistry she feels for Hugh is undeniable but because of a similar experience she and his daughter connect in such a deep way that it soon becomes apparent that they all belong together.
I enjoyed seeing the relationship develop between Daisy and Hugh as well as Daisy and Lucy. Great chemistry, a little suspense and all the feels as I can never get enough of the Montgomery clan. I enjoyed the performance of the narrators as you could feel not only the swoony British accent of Hugh but the resilience of Daisy’s character as well.
