Even though it’s been a year Beau is still reeling from the aftereffects from the passing of his father. When Beck and her son Jett come into his mechanic shop, he never expected the feelings he would have her. He now needs to find a way to overcome his less than ideal first impression and show her that he is the man that she and Jett need in their lives.
Beck has recently moved to her hometown to regroup when she finds herself divorced and a single mother. She is having difficulty understanding where everything went wrong and she believes that the last thing she needs is to get involved with any man let alone one who is more than a decade younger than she is.
The chemistry between Beau and Beck was intense and they had some turmoil to overcome. I enjoyed seeing him break through her walls and overcome her reservations and the relationship that he had was Jett was enchanting. The portrayal by these two talented narrators only made the characters and the situation they were in more relatable.
