Courtney’s reasons for relocating to Austin are twofold as it will allow her to distance herself from her ex and her brother will be there for her and her son Jax. She soon reunites with her brother’s friend and teammate Zack and is drawn to him despite the complications she is currently experiencing in her life.
Zack is not only an accomplished hockey player, but a great friend and a devoted father to his son Sawyer. Even though he has known Courtney for years when he sees her again the sparks fly, and he is determined to be there for her and face any challenges together.
I enjoyed seeing not only the way that the relationship between Courtney and Zack evolved but how they became a family when it comes to their sons and the friendship between the boys as well. There is a great cast of supporting characters which has us looking forward to more of this series.
