After spending her last year studying abroad Willow has returned to Lancaster Prep to reunite with her friends. She thought it would be like she never left however she soon finds out that everyone has moved forward so now she must readjust her plans as well and it begins with Rhett, the quarterback of the football team.
Due to his position on the field Rhett has become used to the attention he receives but when he meets Willow, he knows that she is special. He is familiar being pursued but with Willow he becomes the pursuer, and he isn’t about to let anyone, or anything come between them.
I enjoyed seeing how Rhett at every turn showed Willow that she was his number one priority which allowed her to overcome her insecurities and become the strong woman she was meant to be. There is a great cast of secondary characters which includes their friends and family who are there beside them every step of the way.
