The Kyle that we get the pleasure of meeting in this story is not the Kyle we have come to know.   His college football career has come to an end, and he is preparing to play professionally but first he needs a house.   The one aspect he hadn’t considered is that the realtor for the house he is interested in purchase is his first and only love from when they were teenagers until they were forced apart.

The years since Madelyn was with Kyle haven’t been easy due to a disastrous marriage but it was worth it all to have her son Sebastian.    Separating herself from her husband has been more difficult than she expected so she doesn’t need to let another man into her life especially one who hurt her but despite what happened and the time since he is determined she won’t face it alone. 

When Kyle and Madelyn reunite it is like they were never apart.   The chemistry and feelings between them are stronger than ever as together they face not only the challenges in the future but work to overcome the pain of the past.  The characters are captivating, and I loved the relationship that Kyle and Madelyn shared as well as the relationship that Kyle and Sebastian shared.
