Zara thought she had her future planned out until she realized that the man and the future, they were planning was nothing but a lie. Gabriel is dedicated to his family and especially his son Colson whom he shares joint custody with his ex. He knows that developing feelings for Zara won’t end well however even when she returns to her life, they aren’t able to walk away from each other and now they are trying to find a way to be together.

I really enjoyed the fact that there was minimal angst when it came to their relationship. They were honest about their feelings for each other, and they had their wonderful and interfering families to ensure they knew what really mattered.
