Even as he watched his brother’s find the women who changed their lives Nick didn’t believe that was part of his future despite the close relationship he shares with his family. He is focused on the family business and didn’t believe he had time for anything else until the passing of his best friend has him wanting to help his child and their intriguing aunt.

Although devasted by the passing of her sister and brother in-law she is determined to be there for her children. When that is being threatened what begins as an arrangement between two people to keep the children safe and secure turns into a love that neither saw coming.

It was wonderful to catch up with other members of the Whitley family and to see how far their relationships have come. The romance between Nick and Allison was heartwarming and they fit together like two pieces of a puzzle.
